Our client has developed cutting edge technologies to produce vending machines offering the best quality products to the greatest number of people.

They are a leading multinational company in the out-of-home coffee machine sector, providing comprehensive range of vending & coffee machines and payment solutions for the Ho.Re.Ca, OCS (Office Coffee Solutions) and Vending markets.

They are active in 60 countries in the world with several brands from automatic to traditional coffee machines and different vending machines. The Belux entity is a small team of 7 people with a strong international connection to the Italian HQ.

About the job

As a area account manager you have an (key) account management role for the existing BeLux coffee roasters, dealers and service partners (60% of the business) and you also have to acquire new customers leads (40% of the business) to achieve planned volumes.

Your responsibilities : 

You will report directly to the Country Manager BeLux.

  • Work closely with the Country Manager to organize the roll-out of the Business strategy in Belgium and Luxembourg, integrating also tactical aspects (Marketing Mix), to address each specific channel targeted
  • Take in charge personally the sales relationship with the existing national key accounts, coffee roasters, chains, operators and service partners
  • Define an upselling strategy, present new products, provide trainings and adapt the range of products and services to customers’ needs
  • Work closely with the Marketing team at the headquarter, to define new products and customize existing ones
  • Participate to national events and fairs to promote the company products and acquire new clients
  • Prepare monthly sales reports and action plans to update Regional and Country Managers

About the ideal candidate

  • You fluently speak Dutch, French, English
  • You have a relevant experience in a commercial function within B2B in the Horeca environment (coffee, food and beverage, coffee machines, vending machines)
  • You are a relationship builder with a strong business acumen and a customer centric approach
  • You are curious, eager to learn, success oriented, team player as well as independent warrior.
