As a Senior Product Manager at our esteemed client, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the market landscape, enhancing profitability, and elevating our brand presence. Here's what awaits you:
  • Strategic Growth: Take charge of expanding turnover, profitability, and market share within your designated product universe. Embrace an entrepreneurial spirit to not only meet but exceed team objectives.
  • Local Strategy Development: Utilize comprehensive market knowledge, including GFK data, open sources, and insights into local shoppers and customers, to craft a tailored local strategy for your product universe.
  • Assortment Optimization: Conduct in-depth competition analysis to define the optimal product assortment, both for permanent offerings and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborative Planning: Work closely with the Marketing Director to devise action plans and communication strategies aligned with strategic objectives. From promotional events to advertising campaigns, drive execution and ensure post-analysis evaluation for continuous improvement.
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct ongoing analysis of sales, margins, market share performance, and return on marketing investment (ROMI). Leverage insights to develop actionable plans for enhancing customer sell-out.
  • Financial Planning: Collaborate with the Financial team to prepare detailed budgets and reforecasts, covering aspects such as quantity, turnover, and margin projections.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of 1 Product Manager, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

🎯About the ideal candidate

  • You have a marketing Master or equivalent degree 
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in marketing in F.M.C.G. or household appliances (preferably). Previous experience in sales, category management is a plus. 
  • You have good interpersonal skills and ability to work transversely 
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, experience in managing a P&L 
  • Good knowledge of local consumer insights, both in Wallonia and Flanders 
  • Love for cooking is a plus.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French & English
