The Belux region, which is managed through the Amsterdam office, has grown significantly over the last few years to be the nr 2 chilled juice and smoothie brand in the Netherlands and nr 1 in Belgium Today.
Therefore, we are now looking for an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and action-oriented Key Account Manager, who will help them to achieve this mission.
About the Job
In June 2022, our client has opened their office in Belgium. In the first year their primarily focused on taking over the business from their distributor and building relationships with existing customers.
Next years will be all about further expanding their business at existing and new customers. The KAM will be responsible for the execution of the commercial strategy, managing the relationships with some important BeLux trade partners and implementing the annual sales plans. You’ll play a major role in driving the business forward and making sure they stay the key growth player.
Some of your key responsibilities
- An entrepreneurial mind set, you are very action oriented and like to work on multiple responsibilities at once;
- Maintain strong relations with some of our BeLux trade partners;
- Be in charge of the daily customer management of mutliple grocery and OoH accounts (i.e. Match, Intermarché, Belgocatering, definitive responsibility to be decided and based on experience) and all (yearly) customer negotiations;
- Execute the overall BeLux commercial strategy in your account plans;
- Recommend and deliver agreed P&L and yearly BeLux budget for your accounts;
- Understand market dynamics, competitors businesses and intentions in customers and share recommendations with the wider Benelux team;
- Identify new business development, specifically in the OOH channel;
About the ideal candidate
- An entrepreneurial mind set, you are very action oriented and like to work on multiple responsibilities at once;
- First sales experience in FMCG, in the role of national KAM
- Capability to manage the complexity of understanding a new business quickly and manage the fast amount of external as well as internal stakeholders involved in the BeLux business
- Fluent French + good level of English and Dutch
- Ability to think strategically
- Be able to step outside the box and spot opportunities for growth
